Record note of discussions held by AM(Staff) with Federations (AIRF & NFIR) on 01.12.2017 in the chamber of AM(Staff) on PNM/AIRF Item No. 10/2008 Manning of UTs and PRS Terminals by Commercial Staff .

This meeting was held in continuation to the earlier round of discussions held on 12.07.2017. Although the categories involved pertain to Commercial department but AM(Comml.) and EDPM were not available in the meeting.

It was agreed that:-

(i)            Ticket Checking category as a whole should continue as separate category for the present.

(ii)           The merger of TC, ECRC and CC may be only for future recruits. This will also require a re-look at training requirements, which can be worked out by the Commercial Directorate.
