The most awaited announcement regarding the HRA has been made with disappointments for the employees. Cabinet has approved only 24%, 16% and 8% for X, Y and Z type cities respectively as opposed to the original demand of 30% 20% and 10%. In addition to this, there is another tough decision made by bringing this in effect only from July 2017 instead of July 2016 which in turn results in no arrears.
