Diet Allowance is granted to deputationists in Bureau of Immigration as compensation for food, at a rate of ₹200 pm. No demands have been received regarding this allowance.

Analysis and Recommendations

 The amount of the allowance is meagre and no valid justification has been provided for its continuation. Hence, it is recommended that the allowance should be abolished.
