(ii) Railway Board’s D.O. No. 2010/TG-V/10/3/Pt. II dated 04//2016 addressed to GMs of Zonal Railways.

In the PNM meeting held with the Railway Board on 22/23-12-2016, (Agenda Item No. 13/2011), the Federation pointed out that there are certain problems in the Rest Rooms located in Delhi area. Responding to NFIR’s point, the Official Side agreed to take up the issue with the Northern Railway for ensuring requisite facilities.
Federation is however disappointed to state that though a period of more than three months passed, progress if any made has not been reported to the Federation.
NFIR, therefore, requests the Railway Board to kindly look into the matter and arrange to ensure provision of requisite facilities in the Rest Rooms for Ticket Checking Staff on all Zonal Railways including Northern Railway to avoid discomfort to the Staff performing duties. Action taken on the issue may be advised zone-wise to the Federation at the earliest.
