Dear Sir,

Ref: (i) NFIR’s PNM Item No. 44/2016.
(ii)NFIR’s letter No. IV/Committee Track Maintainer/2010/Part III dated 25/04/2016.

The subject matter was discussed in the NFIR’s PNM meeting held with the Railway Board on 22/23-12-2016, consequently the Official Side conveyed that the case was being processed for enhancing the amount towards cost of Dry Cell Batteries for the Track Maintainers deployed to perform patrolling duties on Railway Tracks to Rs. 150/- p.m. from the existing Rs. 96/- p.m. for purchasing four number of Dry Cell Batteries. Federation however reminds that even though over three months passed, instructions have not been issued revising the amount.
NFIR, therefore, requests the Railway Board to issue instructions revising the reimbursement amount towards cost of Dry Cell Batteries to Rs. 150/- p.m. for Track Maintainers performing patrolling duties on the Railway Tracks. Copy of the instructions issued may be endorsed to the Federation.
Yours faithfully,
S/d,
