Sub: Holding of Appendix-Ill Examination — postponement requested.

It is learnt that the Railway Board have decided to conduct Appendix-III Examination from April 5th, 2017 onwards. In this connection, the Federation conveys that the candidates intend to appear for Appendix-III Examination state that they are already overburdened with the workload as March 31, 2017 Accounts are required to be finalized and for the said purpose they have been working extra hours besides attending offices on Saturday, Sundays and Holidays. Added to this, their children’s examinations compel them to concentrate for providing coaching, while lady staff have been availing child care leave.

Many Accounts staff have been urging that the said Appendix-Ill Examination may be postponed and re-scheduled sometime in July 2017 which would facilitate the employees to prepare fully and face the examination.

As the grievance of the Staff is genuine, NFIR requests the Railway Board (FC) to kindly . order to revise the schedule for Appendix-III Examination to July 2017 (any time).

A copy of the communication thus issued may be endorsed to the Federation.
