Ministry of Railways have constituted a committee to assess specific requirement and preparedness for implementation of scheme of promotion of payments through Cards and Digital Means on Railways

ORDER

Further to Board’s Order of even number dated 07.4.2016 constituting a Committee to assess specific requirement and preparedness for implementation of scheme of promotion of payments through Cards and Digital Means on Railways, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have now decided that the following should be added below to para-2(iii) of Board’s order of even number dated 07.4.2016 as 4th Terms of reference of the Committee:-

“(iv) To suggest modalities for cashless sale of PRS/UTS tickets, etc. through all forms of electronic payments, viz., netbanking, Credit/Debit/Pre-paid Cards, etc. approved by RBI and POS machines by Banks.”
