PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the retirement age of the Central Government employees is proposed to be reduced to 58 years of age or 33 years of service whichever is earlier; and

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

ANSWER

Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office. (DR.JITENDRA SINGH)
(a): No Madam, no such proposal is under consideration.
(b): Does not arise.
