OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:-Terms and conditions of service of Industrial and work-charged employees.
The undersigned is directed to say that the question as to (i) how the fixation of pay of industrial and work-charged employees should be regulated on their appointment, promotion etc. or transfer from one post to another and
(ii) whether fundamental Rules should be made applicable to the industrial and work-charged employees for the purpose,has been under consideration of the Government for some time.
2.The President has been pleased to decide that the fixation of pay of industrial and work-charged employees, on their appointment,
promotions etc. or transfer from one post to another, should be regulated under the relevant fundamental Rules as amended from time to time.
3.The President has also been pleased to decided that the above decision will have effect from the date of issue of these orders.
