Subject:-Re-fixation of initial pay in the Central scales of Government servants of former Indian States absorbed in the Government of India as a result of Federal Financial Integration consequent on retrospective revision of their pays by the State Governments.

I am directed to refer to the Ministry’s letter of even number dated the 1st February 1961, and to say that the decision contained therein will also apply to temporary employees of former Indian States taken over in a Part ‘A’ State and subsequently absorbed in a Central Government Department under the Federal Financial Integration scheme.
