Amendment in Fundamental Rules 1966

 NOTIFICATION

 In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution, the President after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General in relation to persons serving in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Fundamental Rules, namely:-

• These rules may be called the Fundamental (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 1966.
• They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of November, 1965.

 2. In the provision to Rule 22 of the Fundamental Rights, for the words, brackets and figures “then the initial pay shall not, except in cases governed by provision (1)(iii)” occurring after provision (2), the following shall be substituted namely:-

“then the initial pay shall not, except in cases of reversion to parent cadre, governed by provision (1)(iii)”.
