No Budget was allocated for the purpose

The principle of One Rank One Pension for the Armed Forces has been accepted by the Government. The modalities for implementation were discussed with various stakeholders and are presently under consideration of the Government. It will be implemented once the modalities are approved by the Government. No Budget was allocated for the purpose in the Budget 2013-14. Total number of beneficiaries or OROP will be known once the modalities are approved.

This information was given by Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to Shri Hukum Singh and others in Lok Sabha today.

The long debate of considering “one rank one pension.”, should be enforced by the present Govt , considering the facts & justification of the armed forced personnel who dedicated their youth for the sake of the motherland. Ex-servicemen & their families be able to lead a respectable life in the present society. JAI BHARAT.

Present Govt. must enforce the One Rank One Pension so that at least some financial relief can be given to those Ex-Servicemen & their families who have given their golden period of life to the nation. it is universal truth that no one can neither bring their old days back nor their young ones who laid their lives for the nation. But some financial relief can only be extended to them which they are asking from the Govt. since a long, so that they may be able to lead a respectable life in the society. I hope Present Govt. must show its sincerity & seriousness towards this. Jai Hind Jai Bharat .

The Prime Minister should immediately enforce the one rank one pension scheme as approved by the Chiefs of Staff. The NEW DEFENCE MINISTER should come out openly and order the beauracrats and PCDA to implement the Government’s instructions before the year 2014 is over. i.e. by 31.12 2014 latest.

The congress government has been cheating exservicemen so far. But even the hip government has also not done anything other than creating hurdles. Now IESM and others should try to get a target date for implementing the orop. Otherwise, this will go on and on even after 7th pay commission.

government is purposely delaying and but in fact bjp is announcing from the stage that they have implemented but on the grounds it is not yet implemented ,,,,,almost nine months passed ,,,,,bjp should remember they won due to service and ex service men only…. the promise before the election was committed …. now they should complete it……prime minister personally should look into the matter and should be implemented,,,,, how much time they require for this????????????…..

    Dear sir,

In the third pay commission, our entitlement 75 % of total emolument last drawn was computed for pension in case of JCOs/OR, but shrewdly the civilian officers with their vested interest motive had brought down our entitlement of 75 % of gross pay to 50 % to keep us at par with civilians. now the civilian officer may poly any sort of thing and may go to any extent either to scuttle or scale down expectations. OR OP is not concession. it is our birth right. modalities are there but mood of the people is not in favor of us
