Subject: Grant of another installment of Dearness Relief to the freedom fighters and their eligible dependents under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension (SSSP) Scheme, 1980, w.e.f. 01-08-2014.
Sir,
I am directed to forward herewith a copy of Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Order No.08/02/2014-FF (P) dated 21-08-2014 enhancing the rates of Dearness Relief to the freedom fighter pensioners and their eligible dependents by @ 25% w.e.f. 01-08-2014. The total dearness relief payable would thus come to @ 218& p.m. w.e.f. 01-08-2014 onwards.
You are, therefore, requested to issue necessary instruction to all concerned to make payment of Dearness Relief to freedom fighter pensioner at enhancement rate i.e. @ 218% p.m. w.e.f. 01-08-2014 onwards in accordance with Ministry of Home Affairs Order NO.08/02/2014-FF(P) dated 21-08-2014.
