Sub: – Posting of newly recruited teachers to the post of PGT, TGT and PRT through direct recruitment and Medical Examination thereof.

Madam/Sir,

Recently newly recruited teachers of various categories have been deployed to different Regional Offices for posting. In this regard, it is informed that a number of candidates who have been issued offers of appointment by your office on Direct Recruitment are reporting to KVS (HQ) as they are finding it difficult to get medical examination at their own from Govt. Hospitals at their native place.

In the light of above, the newly recruited candidates may be given an option to get their Medical Examination Report from either a Government Hospital at their native place of from a Government Hospital where they are being posted. In case some candidates report to a Kendriya Vidyalaya for joining without a Medical Examination Report, the concerned Principal may refer the candidates to the competent medical authority (Civil Surgeon or Medical Officer of equivalent rank) of that area, and facilitate in the Medical Examination, so that candidates do not suffer on this account.

You are therefore requested to suitably instruct all the Principals of Kendriya Vidyalaya under your jurisdiction to refer the candidates to the nearest available Govt. Hospital for medical examination of the candidates if they report to the Principal without medical fitness certificate.

Compliance be reported. Any grievance/complaint in this matter will be viewed seriously.
