Sub: Engagement of Medical Practitioners on contract basis (CMPs) — Revision of rate of remuneration.
1_Ministry of Railways have reviewed the rate of remuneration, as laid down in Railway Board’s letters No.96/E(GR)II/9/16 dated 24/8/2005, 10/5/2006 and 2007/E(GR)11/1/1 dated 13/8/2009, payable to Medical Practitioners ,engaged on contract. basis (CMPs). It has been decided to revise the monthly remuneration payable to CMPs engaged on Railways as under:

| GDMO | 55000/ – |
| Specialist | 65,000/- |
| Super Specialist | 75,000/- |
2. All other terms and Condition as laid down in Railway Board’s letter No. 96/E(GR)II/9/16 dated 23.2.2000 and as amended from time to time shall remain unchanged.
3. These orders will take effect from the data of issue of this letter and shall remain in force till further orders.
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
