Subject:- Announcement of Lok Sabha Elections 2014 by Election Commission of India – enforcement of Model Code of Conduct.
Sir/Madam,
It is intimated that the Election Commission of India has announced the election schedule for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2014 today. With the announcement of the election schedule by the Commission, the provisions of Model Code of Conduct of Commission has come into force with immediate effect.
Accordingly it is hereby directed that no inaugurations, shilanyas, stone laying ceremonies of any Kendriya Vidyalayas/building etc. of KV5 shall be undertaken during the operation of Model Code of Conduct. Please note and inform all the Principals under your control for strict compliance of this order.
In case of any doubt in this regard clarification may be sought from the Headquarters in writing.
