Subject: Creation of the post of Chief Vigilance Officers and status, facilities, perks and perquisites in CPSEs, etc. — reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 12th July, 2012, on the above subject and to say that several references are being received seeking clarifications regarding date of effect of the instructions contained therein, in order to have uniformity amongst all PSEs/Organisations, it is hereby clarified that the creation/upgradation of the posts of CVOs in CPSEs and other organisations as per the above OM and consequent pay fixation of the incumbent CVOs may be given effect to from the date of issue of the O.M ie 12.07.2012
