TRAVEL ON PRIVATE AIR LINES-CLARIFICATION
For travel on official tours i.e. permanent posting & temporary duty by Airlines other than Air India because of operational or other reasons or on account of non availability of Air India flights, individual cases for relaxation are to be referred to M/o Civil Aviation. The same is not required for the areas or sectors where Ministry of Civil Aviation have issued specific sanction for journey by private airlines e.g. officer posted in NER, DelhiLeh-Delhi sector or for sectors like Patna-Ranchi, Patna-Kolkata, BangaloreCombatore and Bangalore-Kochi etc.
