CGHS beneficiaries getting medicines for Chronic diseases shall be permitted to purchase medicines based on the prescription held (prescribed by CGHS Medical Officers/CGHS Specialists /other Govt. Specialists/ Specialist of empanelled hospital) till 30th September 2020 on the same conditions as per the earlier OM dated 27.03.2020.

Confederation requests to cause an order to be issued exempting the abiding of the specific condition of attendance of at least for a day for the month of April and May, 2020 as a special case and direct all the departments to grant the transport allowance to the employees who were actually prevented from attending the office by the Governmental directive

Indian Railways generates more than 6,40,000 mandays of work till 21 Aug 2020 under GKRA
Indian Railways has generated more than 6,40,000 mandays of work under Gareeb Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan in 6 States viz. Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Till 21 August, 2020, 12,276 workers have been engaged in this Abhiyaan and the payment of Rs 1,410.35 crores has been released to the contractors for the projects being implemented.
PIB – Validity of Motor Vehicle documents extended till 31st of December 2020
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has decided to extend the validity of Fitness, Permits, Licenses, Registration or other documents under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 till the 31st of December 2020.
