Tables of Benefits for the savings fund for the period from 01.07.2020 to 30.09.2020
As hitherto, the first Table of Benefits for the savings fund of the scheme is based on the subscription of Rs.10 p.m. from 1.1.1982 to 31.12.1989 and Rs.15 p.m. w.e.f. 1.1.1990 onwards. The second Table of Benefits for savings fund is based on a subscription of Rs.10 p.m. for those employees who had opted out of the revised rate of subscription w.e.f. 1.1.1990.
Economy Instructions related to printed activities – PIB
All calendars, diaries, schedulers and similar other materials, which were earlier printed in physical format, will now be done digitally. Publication of Coffee Table books will also be stopped and appropriate use of E-Books is encouraged. All Ministries/Departments/PSUs/PSBs and all other organs of the government are to adopt innovative means to use digital or online methods for the same. Innovative digital and online solutions which will achieve the same result as physical calendars or diaries are to be prioritized and to be put into practice.
Submission of the letter of undertaking by the pensioner & forwarding it along with e-PPO under the digital environment – CPAO
Many Bank officials have stated that ink-signed letter of understanding is a necessary condition for start of pension and without this; the banks will not be able to start the first pension as any excess payment made to the pensioners can’t be recovered without any legal supporting document.
Payment of provisional Family Pension on death of a Government Servant during service
Instructions shall apply mutatis mutandis on the Railways also. Rule 54, Rule 80 and Rule 80-A of the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 correspond to Rule 75, Rule 95 and Rule 96 of the Railway Services (Pension) Rules, 1993 respectively.
