The Relative Merit Points (RMP) for assigning weightage to various attributes of the applicants for compassionate appointment have been reviewed. The revised RMP is based on 100 points of 10 variables with provision of additional 15 maximum bonus points for the applicant if she is the widow of the deceased employee/wife of an employee who has retired on medical grounds.

PFRDA : e-Nomination facility for NPS subscribers
In order to enable NPS Subscribers with ease of changing the nomination, PFRDA has allowed the ‘e sign based online facility’ to change of nomination through the Subscribers’ login credentials, as per the process flow given in Annexure-A. Central Record Keeping Agencies (CRAs) have been advised to introduce this feature in their system at the earliest.
Acceptance of withdrawal form (SB-7) with passbook for subsequent deposit/ opening of new account for NSS (Small) in GDS
the light of rule 7 of Government Savings Promotion General Rules 2018 and relevant procedural rules of POSB (CBS) Manual and the competent authority has decided to allow acceptance of withdrawal form along with SB passbook for subsequent deposit and opening of new accounts in GDS Branch Post Offices
Amendment in SB-5 and SB-5A passbooks used in CBS & non CBS Post Offices – DOP
The competent authority has decided to specify different type of cover page for SB-5 and SB-5A passbooks.
