The AICPIN is used to assess the impact of inflation on the general population and is a crucial factor in determining various economic policies, such as adjustments in dearness allowance for government employees.
AICPIN for the Month of June 2022
The All-India CPI-IW for June, 2022 increased by 0.2 points and stood at 129.2 (one hundred twenty nine point two).
AICPIN for the Month of May 2022
The All-India CPI-IW for May, 2022 increased by 1.3 points and stood at 129.0 (one hundred twenty nine points). On 1-month percentage change, it increased by 1.02 per cent with respect to previous month compared to an increase of 0.42 per cent recorded between corresponding months a year ago.
