Can any body say if CGHS recognises PGIMER, Chandigarh as a Govt. Hospital or not. This is important for me , because, as per rule for taking treatment at Govt. Hospitals CGHS cardholders need not be referred by CGHS for reimbursement; but my office is disallowing reimbursement in case of treatment at PGIMER, Chandigarh if it was not referred by CGHS.x

I am living in gurdas pur city appx 230 km away from Chandigarh and how sick man come for treatment.PSE just inform me that patients can be referred from Chandigarh hospital to near by hospital as Amritsar/jalandhar. PSE reply.

Centre government employees are there in whole India. Then why there is no CGHS dispensary in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and J&K.
Request for consideration to ease great rush of pensioners most of them are senior citizens to far flung areas

I live in Amritsar and cghs centre is only in Chandigarh,which is around 230 and away. For getting medicines I have to go twice to get med.for three months. Spending around R’s.2000/- after every three months. Even there is no empanalled HOSPITAL with cghs.
Requested to empanalled Fortis and other private hospital for cash less treatment. Fortis is empanalled in Delhi, in Chandigarh and other stations so why Government empanalled this through out India.

For cronic patients e,g suger/heart/kidney / lever etc or where regular medicine for long life are reqired & are prescribed by treating hospital should be given for six month in one go to avoid frequent visit & rush on cghs staff This will also solve men power problem at dispeseries

Is it not possible to have at least one government dispensary in each state for central govt employees and pensioners and three dispensaries each in Mohali, Chandigarh, and Panchkula like ECHS as they are also contributing same amount but have so many dispensaries.

It is matter of regret that all central government employees of Chandigarh and Pensioners of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh are being given treatment at one dispensary in Chandigarh being looked after by four doctors, out of which 2 always remain absent due to leave, etc
May we request the CGHS to look into this. I have gone four times to the dispensary and got medicine during my fourth visit.
