  3. i am a pensioner. my revised pension as per notional fixation formula dated 12-5-2017 orders and its arrears have not been remitted to my bank account.when shall expect the same and also to reply as to whether whether i have to give any letter/application for exercising my option from 2nd formula to 1st formula which is beneficial to me. will you please reply soon. thank you.

      • It is clearly mentioned in the om,dt.12.5.17 that the higher of the two formulations,which is more beneficial will be given to the concerned pensioner. There is no any mention of submission of option excepting those who have retired prior 1990. Grateful to have ur views.

  7. Sir. my father died on 13.05.2009. (While service on sir).So, my mother has eligible for ten years full pension. As on dec -15, my mother getting pension Rs.11859/-( Basic Pension Rs.5415/- DA Rs. 6444/-). As i found in my father S.B. Pass book, His last salary amount credited was Rs.15422/-. These are all my information i have sir. My father Date of Birth :- 15/07/1952. If u can calculate our pension arrears and send to my e-maill id it will really use to our family.please sir.

    I think you retired on 10/16, not 10/17 since your last pay is Rs.32530 x 2.57 = 83602 as per the 7th MATRIX TABLE level 9, stage 17 your NEW NOTIONAL PENSION FIXED at 85100/2 = Rs.42550/-from 1/10/16 & also you will be getting pay fixation & allowances from 1/1/16 to 31/9/16.

  25. The seventh pay commission arrears calculator is very confusing, it does not clearly show which basic pension figure is to be taken, and where it would be available. Also the financial year wise break up is available to enable me to file revised Income Tax return for the pension arrears already received in Oct 2016 this year.

    Would appreciate if these details are provide anywhere on any other website.

  28. I retired in July 199 as assistant director-ii in the scale of 2000-3500.after 11 year 3 month service. My last basic was 2375. I was given pension of 3500 in sixth pay commission
    minimum 35o0. I was given
    7500-12000 scale but now they are fixing my pension with 4200 grade pay agonist 4800 I. E in s13 against s15.
    Reason is that I was not in service while in service are getting 4800 grade pay.
    No written reply I have received till now from central electricity authority

  29. Dear SIR, I wrote to you regarding my predicament. Iretired on 31.12.1995 in grade Rs 2000-3500. In this scalle i have drawn a basic of R3800/-. The grade was Rs 2000-60-2300-75-3200-3500. Ihave drawn Rs 38800/- since sagnated for 6 yrs in this grade. My services was excellant , and there had been no bad comments on my file. Mine has been a casewith no apathy from department.

  34. My pension in 6th CPC is 14960
    pension under 7cpc 1s 14960×2.57=38448.
    I am on level 12 under matrix table. and the pension should be: 39400. difference is:4788 (or 5740).
    Out of this addl pension, 4660 is being deducted as TDS. Then, what is the use of 7th cpc?
    Therefore, it is requested to implement early Option (i) as per 10.1.68 of 7 cpc recommendation. This will improve the old pensioners to certain extent

Gazette notification not implemented by banks at least for ICAR pensioners: Pensioners in ICAR not paid revised pension, For August 2016, pension was DELAYED up to 10 Sept 2016 and paid by banks at old rates. There is no reference of pay revision by 7th CPC on the website of ICAR http://www.icar.org.in

  48. I’ve been paid Rs.25459 as 2nd installment of OROP today. However, I’ve been paid less amount contrary to actual payment of Rs.26208 (24018 – general + 2190 – disability)..
    Same thing was repeated in the month of March’16 towards first installment.

  49. There is no honorarium benefits proving to Hony Sub to Hony Capt of those awarded hony after retirement.. Thus it is suggested that last one increment or 50% of gp should be added in pension.

  50. There is not equal % applied while fixing OROP of PBOR. Thus rate of enhancement is varied among the each rank. Hony Sub, Sub Maj, Lt and Capt awarded after retirement should be given Honorarium benefits. Where as Hony Nk to Nb Sub are already getting.

    Are to be ordered.
    Platform as this

    1) cleare pre-2006 arrears and vision. Once done inform bank to pay and recieve data and dead line for any compliant through banks.

    2) clear orop anomalies and give revised pension an particular arrears.in fraction decided.

    3) seventh pay and it’s factor of multiplication + arrears.

    If pre- 2006 is clear then give orop revision then come to 7th pay.. Unlike reason to confuse clarity exist. Mention status tool for pensioner and his eligibility to aquire. Many calculators table.. Who wld want all this unless accountants.

  66. -Retired as Head Clerk in April1999 in the grade of 5000-150-8000. Pension revised wrongly at 7943/- and reduced pension at 6538/-1-1-2006. As pere OM No 38/37//08-P &PW(A) pt.1 dated 14-1-2008(includes revised concordence table of the pre-96,pre-2006 and post 2006 pay scales/pay bands and illustrations for calculations of pension/family pensions) so as per this OM the further pension to be calculated in the ccorresponding 6th CPC Pay Bands/scale 9300-34800, corresponding grade pay 4200/- Please calculate my pension from 1-1-2006 till August, 2016

My basic pension is fixed as Rs 26935/- As per 7th cpc my pension will be Rs 58448(including DA) if any on 1-1-2016.Now my problem is the person of my cadre retiring after me (i e my junior)say on 2015 is getting more pension and he will be further more benefited in 7th cpc and will remain ahead of me . this older is (senior) is punished.Is there any solution for this anomaly? I was retired from cpmf in the rank of inspector wef 31/5/2005 basic pension rs 5445/- later revised as 8204 wef 1/1/06 giving grade pay 4200.where as in the 7th pay has shown the existing grade pay of Inspector is 4600 (new grade pay 13800).   73. I was retired in 31/07/2004 as asst. foreman from Ordnance Factory Kanpur (ministry of defence) controlling under Ord. Fy. Board kolkata, at that time my pay scale was 6500-200-10500 and at the time of retirement my scale was 8500. As per 6th pay commission Grade Pay was fixed 4200. In the year 2011 as per Ord. Fy. Board order no 3265/6th CPC/IMPL/2011/A/NG dtd. 04/02/2011 Asst. Foreman was merged with Jr. Works Manager as per pay scale 7450-225-11500 with grade pay 4600. Pl let me know that will I get the benefit of grade pay or not. If I can get then pl. help me and accordingly send me amended PPO and in 7th CPC pl. fix my pension accordingly. I will be thankful to you. Regard.

  74. Self had retired from Indian Navy on 29th Feb 2000 as P.O. I would like one clarification that why the PBOR is neglected their revision of pension pre 2006 Pensioners.

    It is needless to mention that we also contributed our blood for this country as it demanded. Discipline, starts from the services but why the same is not adhere in this regard.

  93. At present I am drawing Pension Rs. 10330/-. If 7CPC is not there the DA wed. 01/07/2016 falls 6%, that means the total DA comes 125+6 %. On Rs. 10330/- DA of 6% comes Rs. 620/- PM.

    Now as per 7th. CPC My basic pension May be fixed to Rs.26549/-. The DA as per 7 CPC falls near about 2%. Yielding of DA will be Rs. 531/- on basic pension of Rs. 26549/-.
    As per above calculation Rs.89/- I am going to get lost (I.e. differences of both the above DA’s)
    For Rs.89/- my basic pension should be as Rs.30,999/- (I.e. 26549 + 4450).
    Finaly the 7 CPC fooled the Pensioners.

  102. Higher option does not show correctly. It only shows the lower option under Option II. But it shows correctly in the arrears calculation table as higher option under Option I. It should be set right.

  103. writing off bad debts by government is not a burden to govt , those inc\volved in that are politicians bad babus and corporate borrowers who give bribe to those who sanction the loans But where as to increase the pay scale of so called employees is a burden to govt as well as babus. this is a bad practice going on india for the last so many decades. God only knows when the system will be changed.

  105. I am a pre-1.1.96 Def civ pensioner. The revised pension under 7th CPC is based on last pay drawn & no. of increments earned.Although this info is given in the 6th CPC PPOs,will thePension Disbursing Authy(Bank)decide the new pension or the Pension Sanctioning Authy has to issue fresh PPOs which in the later case would take 6-12 months to pay the new pension & arrears.The arrears of 6th CPC from Jan 06 were pain in Jun 16.Secondly would the addl pension of 20% etc continue to be paid to pensioners over 80 yrs of age.

  112. Sir, it is sad to see that print and electronic media are dancing to the tune of Govt. forgetting the investigative reporting. Govt. employees’ pay and pensions have been increased 2.57 times. Ridiculous! We are already getting 2.25 times our basic pay/pension. The REAL increase is 0.32 times. Suppose my basic pension /pay is 100.Add 125 as DR/DA. It becomes 225. If you multiply basic pay/pension by weightage factor 2.57, then Iwill get 257. Iam already getting 225.The real increase is 257-225=32. What a joke 7th CPC HAS CRACKED! I n 5th and 6th CPC, THE WEIGHTAGE FACTOR WAS 40%. NDA govt. has reduced it to 32% i.e. basic pay/pension plus DA/DR plus 40% of basic pay/pension as weightage factor. Total becomes new scale/pension. The NDA govt. has saved 8% to disburse two installments of DA/DR. UPA govt. has written off four lacs crores as bad loans. NDA has recently written off about 57 thouands crores as bad debts. Both govts. are generous to industrialists and traders except employees. Bad debts are not burden but an index of development. Now, the increase in pay and pension will bring lacs of employees under income tax net neutralising the effect of increase killing two birds with one stone. Jai ho neeti, rajneeti, kootneeti and anneeti!

  113. I Retired as Hony Flying |Officer on 1.10.1981 after 37 years of service. In the Air Force Hony Rank is conferred at the last year of service . So how can they restrict the year of service as 32 Years and paid me pension as applicable for 32 years of service, when I was made an Hon Fg Offr at 37th year of service. This anomaly need to be rectified.

  114. Upa govt rised pre2006retirees 3time nearly 3fold increase in basic pension. Now whole world alerted with band and bazja by nda that they had given orop and 7 pay commssn. But in actually no significant change found on our pension withese two development. Simply make noise but nothing fall in our plate. So rahulgandhi’s observation about this govt is centpercent wrt. ie this govt only bark seldom bite.

  131. Sir,I have already conveyed that Hony ranks pay are given to Hony/TS Naiks, Hony Havs and Hony N Subs but the same is not given to Subs granted Hony rank of Sub Majs after retirement. Sir it hurting to a Wo who have served more than 33yrs but they are getting pension only equal to his counterparts Subedar of Army who maximum service is only 30yrs, apart from this in Army almost all the ranks get honorary on retirement, where as this facility is not there in Air force,. I have written earlier also on this injustice to airforce personal, but no one have taken this matter seriously,. Specially diploma entry in Air force which was inducted in 1971 are denied their rights. In Army diploma holder was given JCO rank but in Air force they were given LAC group one rank, as the pay scale was equal that time before 3Rd pay commission, and it was clarified that very year by air force authority, but later on LAC rank group one was fixed 330/-and that of Army JCO was fixed 520/- scale by 3Rd pay commission. And till date air force is neglected by all pay commission and our Air force authority is keeping silence. May I request to the 7the pay commission panel to look into this matter seriously.   156. All the pensioners will get 32% of their basic pension as fitment benefit while revising their pension as on 1.1.2016. For example if the baisc pension (before deducting the commuted portion of pension) sanctioned at the time of retirement is Rs.10,000, his revised pension as on 1.1.2016 will be Rs.25,700 as shown below:

  157. All the pensioners will become entitled to 32 % of basic pension sanctioned on the date of retirement (applicable only in the case of those retired on or after 1.1.2006). In the case of those retired prior to 1.1.2006 , the consolidated pension fixed as n 1.1.2006 should be taken into account. For example if a person retired on 31.1.2006 and earned a basic pension of Rs. 15,000 being the 50% of his last pay of Rs.30,000 drawn in PB-II – Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800, his consolidated pension as on 1.1.2016 will be Rs,.38,550 as shown below :

    1.I K Vijayaraj retired as Sub/ Hony Sub Maj after completion of 30 years of service. I hold the last rank Sub for more than 9 Years.The officers retired from Army holding more than 8 years getting one rank up pension. In Jco ranks why they were not eligible for one rank up pension.
    2.   241. whatever bme your basic pension as per VI CPC, calculation is made with reference to the basic pension. You cannot get the pension eligible if your pension is greater than the minimum pension of your cadre. This is a cunning method adopted by the devil commission determined to hit the retirees below the belt. with all vengeful content, the FM dares to congratulate the employees considering they are just dummy slaves.

  312. This calculation is wrong. If the minimum basic pension under VI CPC is 12600, with no increment, the pension under 7th CPC is 32382. With 9 increments in the scale of 10000-15200, the pension under 7th CPC is 44200. If your basic pension under 6th CPC is 14111, the pension with nine increments in the scale , comes to 47317.00

  323. Sir I am ex Hony Capt Gharu Ram from Jammu I retired from the Indian army on 30.09.2009 after completing 26 yr 03 months and 28 days of service. My pension was fixed less since I couldn’t complete 28 yrs of service before thrown out of Army with none of the fault on my own since as per the terms and conditions applicable to the sub maj one has to retire after completing 4 yrs of service as sub maj whether he has completed 28 yrs of service or not. More over when a soldier is considered for hony commission to the rank of Lt/Capt no service limit should be applicable or otherwise they should not be considered for the Hony Commission. This is a great insult of person like me to get less pension than of junior ranks. It seems to be injustice to Hony Commissioned offrs like me. I would humbly request to reconsider the Pensions of hony commissioned offrs. Thanks with great hope in forthcoming 7th CPC

  331. In seventh pay commission the max. gratuity limit increased from 10 lacks to 20 lacks.Now the person who will retire after first January 2016 will get 20 lacks gratuity, if he is entitled for gratuity more than 20 lacks
    But the person who got retired on 31st December 2015 will get 10 lacks gratuity although his calculated gratuity is more than 20 lacks.This is illogical and unjustified,as the gratuity is a payment for service period and this hike in max. limit is during the period of 10 years,so the persons who were retired in previous 10 years should also get arrears payment as per logical and justified formula ;such as the person who has retired one year before should get gratuity hike payment 10x.9 =9 lacks arrears if his calculated gratuity is more than 20 lacks.Similarly if person retired 5 years before than he should get 10x.5=5 lacks gratuity arrears payment if his calculated gratuity is more than 20 lacks.The gratuity arrears should be given to all deserving retired central govt. employees.

  379. Payment of Orop arrears and new pension not paid till date by bank of Baroda cppc new Delhi or Baroda. Instead of Havildar pension Rs 7598 basic pension for 15.5 yrs service, bank is crediting Rs.6665 Basic pension for Sepoy for 15 yrs plus DA, it is my utter surprise the cppc having all information and also forwarded all requisite documents and information by local branch bank of baroda, Visakhapatnam on 8-4-2016, to CPPC New Delhi, but no action has been taken by cppc new Delhi for adjusting latest Havildar pension of Rs 7598. The Govt of India, MOD, Min of Fin, PCDA, RBI given clear instructions and orders to all cppc and bankers for implementation of Orop arrears and new pension but cppc bank of Baroda new Delhi did not bothered. I can say this is a gross negligence and deficiency in service. As Accounts officer are working in Autonomous body more than, Central Government like preparation Budget, Balance Sheet Audit Work and control of Expenditure.But GP is leesthan Govt Employees.Their services are more than Govt Employees.

Sothat the jco ors can make sure that they should get the benifit without any problem. Instead of publishing chart referring so many orders, and memos iam sure 90petcent of us not sure of increament earned and other details. I find the arrears calculation table giving the date from 1.1.2016, the pension drawn has been shown at a higher level than the actual pension of somewhere Rs. 26000/- How is it? Is it correct?   433. I retired on 31 Dec 2014 after 36 years of service. My basic pension is Rs 285. 60/- whereas basic pension of officer retired before 01 Jul 2014 in the rank of Lt Col after 33 years of service is Rs 34765/-. Difference in the basic pension is 6205/-. Technically it is incorrect to get less pension than juniors who retired years ago. IHQ or concern authority should take immediate action to resolve this issue to avoid court cases as well as to maintain faith in the system.

  439. As per the OROP, basic pension of Sub who completed 30 Yrs of service in Gp ‘X’ has been fixed Rs 13643/-pm. But personnel retired after 01 July 2014 to 31 Dec 2015 in the same rank and service is getting Rs 13105/- pm i.e Rs 538/-pm less. Please let me know what is the reason. Please also clarify the difference will be cleared on fixation of pension as per 7thCPC. This difference will also increase after fixation of pension as per 7th CPC as follows :-
    (a) Personnel Retd before 01 Jul 2014 – 13643×2.57 = 35062
    (b) Personnel Retd after 01 Jul 2014 – 13105×2.57= 33679

  450. A person retired in 31/12/1998 in pay scale S 26 (16400-450-20000) after completing 24 years of service. Basic pay at retirement was 16400 that is at the starting of the pay scale. Other person who also retired on 31/12 1998 in pay scale S 24 (14300-400-18300) after same years of completing the service, with five increments. Basic pay at the time of retirement was 163000.
    As per the fixation formula, pension for pay (S 26) 16400 shall be fixed at 65550, where as fixation of pension for pay (S24) 16300 is coming to 68750 with same nos of years of service and same date of retirement. This is the case of anomaly

I have nothing to say about this 7 CPC calculation only says this, if higher ups have the family maintain problems after taking huge amount as this lower ups have the same problem which lower ups faced day to days to maintain their family without enrolled in another service. So Prime minister may look into the matter very sympathetically to solve lower ups problems.

  478. My husband took V R S in may 1994 inthe scale of 2200-75-2800-4000 .His basic pay was3700 in 1994.He took only 2 increements in this scale as he was promoted in 1992 from the scale2375-3500. In 6th pay commission his scale was put into15600-39000+6600. please let me know his pension in 2nd option.

  480. Will you please clarify how the portion of 40% pension encashed will be treated while fixing the revised pension.

    My basic pension was fixed at 12175/- I encashed 40% of it and getting balance monthly pension of Rs. 7,305/- + DA as applicable from time to time. What will be my revised pension.

  484. I retired on 31st December 1997 after qualifying 38+ service.At the time of retirement I was drawing Rs. 7000 as basic pay plus Rs. 900 as stagnant pay. My basic pension was fixes Rs. 3500. Later on on 6th CPC basic pension fixed to Rs 7910. Whether the fixation was correct? Further what will be my basic pension in 7th CPC. Thanking you in anticipation.

  486. The multiplying factor of 2.57 or 2.62 or 2.81 is yet to be finalised by the Cabinet. Keeping in view the ratio between minimum wages demanded and pre-7th pay commission minimum wages we still hope for a factor of 3.00. LET US WAIT for GOVT’s DECISION on the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission.
